LEXINGTON, Ky. – Dartmouth women's track & field freshman Cha'Mia Rothwell automatically earned a spot in Saturday's 100m hurdles national quarterfinals.

Competing at the NCAA East Regional at the University of Kentucky, Rothwell ran a 13.43 in Friday's opening round, picking up one of the heat's three automatic berths in the process.

Overall, Rothwell was 17th in a field of 48.

The Ivy League champion in the event, Rothwell will look to advance to the NCAA National Championship in Eugene, Oregon, in two weeks when she runs Saturday night in the national quarterfinals. The event is set to begin at 7:05 p.m. with the top-12 punching their tickets to Tracktown USA.
