HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women’s indoor track & field team posted its first win of the 2016-17 indoor season Saturday afternoon at Leverone Field House.

The Big Green bested regional rivals New Hampshire (55.5) and Maine (33), finishing with a dominating 98.50 points.

Freshman Cha’Mai Rothwell was a three-event winner, including setting a new school record in the 60m hurdles with 8.56 in the final to win the event. She would also take the top spot in the 60m final (7.55) and the long jump (19-1.50/5.83m).

In all, Dartmouth also got first-place finishes from: Nicole Deblasio (200m, 25.34), Kayla Gilding (400m, 59.88), Claire Dougherty (500m, 1:16.03), Aliyah Gallup (2:09.49), Jennie Cunningham (1000m, 3:00.88), Meg Tuthill (mile, 5:03.56), Julia Valenti (11-5.75/3.50m), Folasade Akinfe (triple jump, 38-8.25/11.79m) and Melissa Dunham (shot put, 45-6.25/13.87m).

The Big Green also took home  first and second in the 4x400m relay with the quartet of Marissa Evans, Katy Sprout, Jacqueline Perron-Smith and Gilding taking the top spot in 4:00.93.
