AMHERST, Mass. – The Dartmouth women’s track & field team finished fifth at Saturday’s UMass Pre-Conference Meet.

The Big Green posted 80 points at the UMass Track & Field Complex thanks to a pair of event wins and four more top-three finishes.

Lily Lockhart was the lone individual winner, taking the top spot and 10 points in the discus. Her best throw of the day measured 44.39m, more than eight feet better than the second-place thrower.
• The other win came in the 4x400m relay with Alexa Jennings, Anna DiMarcello, Eliza Dekker and Abigail Brazil combining to post a 3:58.87 for the victory.
• Dekker (2:13.14) and Jennings (2:13.34) were second and third, respectively, in the 800m.
Kayla Gilding was second in the 400m with a 56.77 to her credit. Kathryn Laskoski (59.13) and Jacqueline Perron-Smith (1:00.52) were fifth and seventh, respectively.
• The hammer throw saw Amelia Ali (50.06m) claim third, while Alexandra Collins (48.56m) was fifth and Lockhart (47.70m) sixth.
Diana Vizza was third in the 5000m, running a 17:26.25.
