HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Dartmouth women’s track & field team made its 2017 outdoor season debut at High Point’s Bob Davidson Spring Kick-Off at Dick Vert Stadium Friday.

The Big Green are sixth with 29 points. Marshall leads the field of 16 teams with 63 points through 11 scored events.

Freshman Cha'Mia Rothwell continued her strong first year by winning the 100m hurdles in 13.69 and then finishing fifth in the long jump with a mark of 5.48m.

Maria Garman was second in the heptathlon, with 4,411 points, while Miranda Lawson was fifth as she posted 4,247.

The javelin saw a trio of top-10 finishers as Olivia Wiener (7th, 42.89m), Moriah Morton (8th, 41.81m) and Bridget Douglas (10th, 39.06m) all finished in the upper third of the event’s field.

Katy Sprout was 10th in the 400m in 58.68, while Nicole Deblasio was 10th in the 100m, crossing in 12.13.

The Bob Davidson Kick-Off Spring Classic concludes Saturday (March 18) with field events starting at 9 a.m. and the track events slated to begin at noon.
