BOSTON – The Dartmouth women’s indoor track & field team competed Friday afternoon and into the evening at Boston University’s Valentine Invitational.

The non-scoring meet held inside the BU Track & Tennis Center featured several highlights for members of the Big Green.

Freshman Cha'Mia Rothwell was second in the 60m hurdles (8.49) and third in the 60m (7.62), respectively. Another second-place overall finish came from Claire Dougherty in the 500m (1:14.58). However, Dougherty was the top collegiate runner in the race.

Julia Valenti was also a second-place finisher, taking the runner-up spot in the pole vault (12-5.5/3.80m), while teammate Shanthi Hiremath was fourth in the event (11-11.75/3.65m).

Bridget Flynn won her heat of the 800m in 2:10.31 and was fifth overall in a field of nearly 150 competitors. Her namesake counterpart in Bridget O'Neill was also fifth in her heat as well as overall in the 1000m, crossing in 2:46.61.
