HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth Indoor Classic held Saturday at Leverone Field House marked the fifth home meet of the season for the Big Green women’s track & field program.

A non-scoring meet, the day was highlighted by freshman Julia Valenti’s first-place showing in the pole vault. Valenti cleared 12-7.50/3.85m on her first attempt at the height, the lone individual competing to even reach the measurement.

The final of the 60m hurdles saw Dartmouth go one-two-three with freshman Cha'Mia Rothwell (8.54) leading the trio that also included Abby Feeney (8.96) and Danielle Okonta (9.02).

Rothwell also took home the crown in the final of the 60m, crossing in 7.63 and was second in the long jump (16-3.25/4.96m).

Alexa Jennings was also a winner, taking the top spot in the 500m with a 1:18.27 to her credit, as did Lauren Archer in the 1000m by running a 2:55.12. Archer bested teammate and second-place finisher Jennifer Cunningham by half a second (2:55.75).

Nicole Deblasio’s 25.22 was the best mark of any of the 53 individuals competing in the 200m.

Georgia Fear was second in the mile, running a 4:59.35, a time that proved to be the only sub-five-minute mark of the afternoon in the event.

Second-place finishes also came from Shanthi Hiremath (37-3.25/11.36m) in the triple jump and Amelia Ali (57-0.75/17.39m) in the weight throw.
