JUNIOR (2017)
All-Ivy League Second Team … All-New England Third Team … one of two players to start every game … reached base safely in 38 of the 40 contests, including a stretch of 23 straight … led the team with 31 RBIs and was the second-toughest batter to strike out in the conference (once every 11.7 at-bats) … tied for team-high honors with 50 hits, 16 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games, plus second on the squad with eight doubles and four homers … began the season with two singles, two walks, a stolen base and a run in the 8-4 victory over Eastern Michigan … went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in the 3-2 loss at 17th-ranked Miami … reached base four more times, scoring twice and driving in two including the go-ahead run in the ninth in what turned out to be an 8-7 defeat at The Citadel … that began a 10-game hitting streak during which he hit .318 (16-for-42) with four doubles, a homer and 10 RBIs … next day drove in what proved to be the winning run in the ninth with a double in a 10-9 win over the Bulldogs … produced a two-run bomb and an RBI double in a 9-2 win to complete a twinbill sweep of Columbia … drove in three more runs in the second game against Penn the next day in an 11-inning loss … his two-run blast at Holy Cross were the only Big Green runs against the Crusaders … went 3-for-6 in doubleheaders against both Princeton and Cornell … had three hits with a double and three RBIs in the series finale versus Brown … was 2-for-4 with two walks, a run and an RBI, which brought home the tying run in the ninth at Siena to set up the 9-9 final, Dartmouth’s first tie game in 10 years … belted a solo blast to help the Green take the first game against Harvard, 2-1 … rapped out two hits in each of the first three games against the Crimson.

Missed 12 games due to an injury, including the first Ivy League weekend ... was hitting .314 at the time he was sidelined ... had the team’s longest hitting streak of the season at nine games (12-for-32, .375) ... 28 of his 29 starts came in right field, the other behind the plate against Villanova in the second game of the season ...first hit was a double against Indiana State ... really got the bat going in the three games at top-ranked Florida, peppering the Gator pitchers with five hits in 10 at-bats .. had Dartmouth’s only two hits in the first of those contests ... capped the series with two hits, three runs and a solo bomb ... extended his hit streak to nine upon returning from his injury with a triple against Penn ... later hit a walk-off sacrifice fly on a pop up to the second baseman in the 2-1 win over the Quakers ... started the three-run, ninth-inning rally with his third hit of the game in a 7-6, walk-off win over Columbia ... drove in two runs in the 11-6 loss to UMass Lowell ... reached base three times with a single, double and a walk in a 4-3 win at Brown ... was a perfect 3-for-3 with a run, RBI, hit by pitch and a sacrifice to help the Green start a twinbill sweep at Cornell with a 9-3 victory ... laced an RBI triple and scored the other two runs in the 3-1 nightcap ... blasted a solo shot, singled and scored twice in the 5-4 loss to Yale in the Rolfe Division playoff game.

Of his 39 starts, 37 came in right field with the other two behind the plate ... third on the team with 12 multi-hit games ... overcame a slow start to post a slash line of .406/.487/.531 over the final 20 games, going 26-for-64 with three doubles, a triple and a home run ... led the squad with 14 RBIs in Ivy League play and was second with a .327 average ... struck out just four times in 55 at-bats against conference pitchers ... went 2-for-4 in collegiate debut with a double and an RBI in 4-3 loss to No. 14 Texas A&M … smacked a two-run triple during a five-run fifth in the 7-1 win at Cal Poly … next two-hit game came with an RBI in the 8-5 win at Cornell ... drove in the winning run of the 3-2, eight-inning victory at Yale with a sacrifice fly … went 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, a stolen base, three runs and two RBIs in the second game of the twinbill with the Bulldogs, a 22-10 Dartmouth victory ... was 2-for-3 in both ends of the first doubleheader against Brown ... also tripled in the first game ... ended season on a nine-game hitting streak, the longest by a Big Green player all season, with seven multi-hit games ... hit .486 (17-for-35) during the streak ... went 7-for-14 with five runs and six RBIs in the four-game sweep of Harvard, including his first home run, a three-run shot in the opening 8-1 triumph ... the three RBIs and three runs he scored in the game were both season highs ... named both Player of the Week and Ivy League Rookie of the Week for his performance against the Crimson ... hit .538 (7-for-13) in the Ivy League Championship Series, scoring five times ...
