PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth women’s cross country team finished seventh at the 2016 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship held at Princeton’s West Windsor Fields.
The Big Green registered 142 points, finishing just back of fifth-place Cornell (133) and sixth-place Princeton (137).
Senior Helen Schlachtenhaufen led the way for Dartmouth with a 14th-place finish, crossing the finish line of the 6K course in 20:57.
Junior Leigh Moffett was 41st but garnered 40 points for her team as she ran a 21:33. Georgia Fear — also running in her first Heps – was the final Dartmouth individual to earn points, picking up 49 with a 51st-place finish in 21:39.
Harvard put on a convincing display, winning the team title in 33 points, beating rival and second-place Yale (69). Penn (77) and Brown (105) were third and fourth, respectively, while Columbia (166) was eighth.
