HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men’s soccer juniors, Wyatt Omsberg and Matt Danilack were named to the 2016 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division I Men's All-East Region Team.
After being a steady force on defense all season, Omsberg was tabbed for the first team. The Scarborough, Maine native was also honored as the Ancient Eight’s top defensive player, as well as a First Team All-Ivy selection for the second consecutive season. He was a member of a defensive front that only surrendered 12 goals in the regular season and was one of two Ivy League league players to earn NSCAA First Team honors.
Danilack was named to the NSCAA All-East Region Second Team after a great season at midfielder. Danilack started in 18 of 19 games played and led Dartmouth with 13 points on four goals and a team-high five assists. He was also honored with an All-Ivy First Team selection for a second consecutive season and was the only Ancient Eight representative on the NSCAA’s Second Team.
