HANOVER, N.H. – Chad Riley, the Bobby Clark Head Coach of Dartmouth Men's Soccer has announced the 2017 schedule that will feature the Big Green at home eight times during the regular season, as the Big Green look to capture its fourth consecutive Ivy League title.
“I am excited to announce our 2017 schedule,” Riley said. “This schedule will test us and prepare us well. We are looking forward to competing together this fall.”
This fall the Big Green will compete against a pair of teams who made the NCAA College Cup last year. Dartmouth will open the season with one of those squads, when the Big Green travel to Michigan State on Sept. 1 for a 7 p.m. showdown. Dartmouth will remain in the Great Lakes State to take on Michigan on Monday, Sept. 4.
The Big Green return to the east coast on Sept. 9 for a road game at Hartford, before the 2017 home opener on Sept. 12 when UMass comes to Hanover. After visiting Holy Cross on Sept. 16, Dartmouth opens up a four-game home stand starting with UMass Lowell on Sept. 20, twin state rival Vermont on Sept. 23 and Princeton for the Ivy League opener at Burnham Field on Sept. 30. The home stretch concludes with Hofstra on Oct 3 at 7 p.m.
On Oct 7, the Big Green travel to Yale before heading to Philadelphia for a game against Penn on Oct. 14. Dartmouth will remain on the road to square off with in-state rival New Hampshire on Oct. 17 before hosting Columbia on Oct. 21.
On Oct. 24, the Big Green welcome American Athletic Conference foe, UConn to Burnham Field, before an important league contest at Harvard on Oct. 28. Dartmouth hosts Cornell on Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. for Senior Day before concluding the regular season on the road at Brown on Nov. 11.
