CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The ninth-ranked Dartmouth women’s squash team fell to No. 1 Harvard, 9-0 in Cambridge on Wednesday night.
With the loss, the Big Green drop to 1-2, while the Crimson open the season 1-0.
Dartmouth played well against a very strong Harvard team, but could not pull off the upset on the road. Emma Roberts turned in one of the Big Green’s best performances of the evening after she nearly took her second game in extra points. Rebecca Brownell also had a decent outing in her first two games before falling to her opponent in the third.
The Big Green will have a break before they return to the court on Jan. 14 when Dartmouth visits Ivy League foe Princeton at 12 p.m.
