PRINCETON, N.J. – Ten Dartmouth student-athletes were honored with Academic All-Ivy recognition for the 2015-16 winter season, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

To qualify for a spot on the conference’s top academic team during the winter, a student-athlete must make a major contribution to their team in addition to maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average.

Five members of the Class of 2016 were recognized, with four sophomores and one junior also being tabbed for their work as all-around student-athletes.

James Verhagen and Fanni Szabo each earned the honor for the second year in a row, while Boehm has now been recognized in three straight years. 

The 10 Big Green student-athletes listed in alphabetical order with key information are as follows:

Jack Barre / Men’s Ice Hockey / Senior / Fairfield, Conn. / Economics
- 3.33 GPA
- Led Dartmouth in goals, assists and points during the regular season
-  First Team All-Ivy League

Connor Boehm / Men’s Basketball / Senior / Winnetka, Ill. / Economics
- 3.64 GPA
- Academic All-District I for second time
- Career ranks at Dartmouth: 19th in scoring (1,127 points), 8th in rebounding (599), 7th in FG percentage (.504)

Alvin Heumann / Men’s Squash / Sophomore / Southport, Conn. / Undeclared
- 3.46 GPA
- A unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection after he won seven matches, all at the No. 1 position

AnnClaire MacArt / Swimming & Diving / Sophomore / Woodland, Calif. / Undeclared
- 3.53 GPA
- Finished seventh in the 500 free and broke her own Dartmouth record from the year before at the Ivy Championship
- She also swam the 200 free, 1650 free and was part of the 800 free relay

- Won four matches in the No. 3 and No. 4 positions

- Posted team-leading 23 points from 10 goals and 13 assists
- 12 of her 23 points came in Ivy League contests

- 3.19 GPA
- A key contributor to the Big Green’s offense this season, averaging 8.4 points per game.
- Became the 18th player in school history to reach 1,000 career points

- 3.36 GPA
- At the Ivy League Championship, he broke his own record from 2013 in the 200 back and was part of the 200 free relay that broke the Dartmouth record
