STAMFORD, Conn. –  Dartmouth women’s squash senior Rebecca Brownell lost a hard fought match to Columbia’s Madlen O’Connor in the second round of the College Squash Association Individual Championship in Stamford on Saturday.

Brownell fell 11-8 in the first game and narrowly lost the second 12-10. In the final frame, Brownell fell 11-4.

In the consolation rounds, senior Tori Dewey defeated Nicole Feshbach of Williams in three games, winning 11-9, 11-6 and 11-6. Sophomore Janel Gaube lost to Georgetown’s Victoria Arjoon 3-0, while senior Lydie McKenzie fell to Brown’s Skylar Murphy in three games. 

In the second round of consolation matches, Dewey fell to Trinity’s Karolina Kolinkova in straight games to finish the afternoon for the Big Green.
