HANOVER, N.H. – The 2018 Dartmouth women’s lacrosse schedule is set.
Entering her second season, head coach Danielle Spencer announced that the Big Green will play 15 games this spring, featuring a mix of six home games and nine road contests.
Three games in February kick off the 2018 campaign, starting in Amherst, Massachusetts, against UMass on Saturday, the 17th. The home opener will follow on Wednesday, Feb. 21 against in-state rival New Hampshire. A trip to Albany a week later caps the team’s opening month.
A March 3 home game against Columbia opens Ivy League play for the Big Green and is the final contest before a two-week break for final exams. When the team returns from their academic responsibilities, they will begin a four-game road trip to close out March, heading to non-conference Hofstra (Mar. 16) and Jacksonville (Mar. 21) before Ancient Eight tilts at Princeton (Mar. 24) and Harvard (Mar. 31).
A single game against Penn on April 7 marks Dartmouth’s return to Scully-Fahey Field before heading back out for a pair of contests at Boston College (April 11) and Cornell (April 14).
A three-game homestand in a week’s time follows as Vermont (April 18), Yale (April 21) and UMass Lowell (25) close out the regular-season contests scheduled for Hanover.
The 2018 finale will come in Providence on Saturday, April 28 at Brown before the conference’s top-four teams will play in the Ivy League Tournament hosted by the top seed the following weekend.
