HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women’s lacrosse team and four of its players have been recognized for their work in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year.

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced both its Division I Academic Honor Roll, recognizing individual student-athletes, as well as its annual list of teams who were named Academic Honor Squads.

To be eligible for the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic grade point average of 3.50 or greater.

Three members of the Class of 2017 joined junior Katie O'Neill on the list as seniors Kristen Hinckley, Blake Hamblett and Kelly Dolan were all named to the national list of honorees.

The Big Green were also acknowledged as a whole for their work in academia. To be honored for the team accolade, a program most post a GPA of 3.0 or above for the year, a figure that Dartmouth and six other Ivy League teams met or surpassed.
