QUECHEE, Vt. – The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team handed out its 2017 awards at the annual banquet Tuesday night at the Quechee Inn.

First-year head coach Danielle Spencer and her assistants Nicole Price and Mike Wilus presented three senior members of this year's team with accolades for their performances this past spring.

The Don '35 and Margaret Radasch Award is presented to the player who exemplifies extraordinary dedication, true coachability and an unselfish attitude throughout the season. This year's recipient was senior Courtney Weisse.

Weisse was a Second Team All-Ivy League player in her final season with the Big Green, leading the team in scoring with 41 points and 37 goals, both career highs. The Westfield, New Jersey, native scored more goals and points as a senior than in her three previous seasons combined (22 and 39), capping her career with easily her best campaign in a Dartmouth uniform.

The Josie Harper Award given to the player who has shown love for the game, genuine respect and care for her teammates, and pride in Dartmouth lacrosse and hard work was presented to senior Kelly Dolan.

She may not have the stats and accolades of some of her teammates, but few are as beloved as Dolan. During Senior Day, Spencer said, “Kelly has always exemplified the team's value of gratitude and will be remembered for her kindness and team-first mentality.”

Kristen Hinckley was named this year's Patty Pierce Award recipient. The honor presented annually to the player who has made outstanding contributions to the Dartmouth women's lacrosse program, along with being an exemplary role model both on and off the field over the course of four years.

The Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, native will graduate never having scored a goal or registering a point. That does not mean she was not a huge part of her team over the course of her career. Hinckley played in 39 games in the last three seasons, but had her best in 2017, recording career highs in both ground balls (13) and caused turnovers (14) as the anchor of the Dartmouth defensive unit.
