HANOVER, N.H. – Once again former Dartmouth women’s lacrosse standout Devon Wills ’06 has been named to the U.S. Women’s National Team.

US Lacrosse made the announcement Sunday afternoon following a three-day tryout at the organization’s national team training center in Sparks, Maryland.

Wills is one of five goalkeepers on the initial 36-player roster that will train in the lead up to the 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Women’s World Cup in Guildford, England. That group will eventually be cut in half as 18 players will make the final roster that will seek its third straight title and eighth overall.

A member of both of the previous American squads that captured world titles in 2009 and 2013, Wills is one of just eight players in the group from the most recent FIL World Cup win in Canada three years ago.
