HANOVER, N.H. – The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) have announced its 2016 Division I Academic Honor Squads and Academic Honor Roll.

Once again, as a team Dartmouth made the list and was recognized for its diligence in the classroom with several individuals also earning recognition.

The Big Green were one of 93 programs from across Division I to be honored for their successes away from the field of competition and in the realm of academia.

In order to qualify for this accolade, teams must achieve a 3.0 grade point average as a whole during the academic year in which their season was played.

The Big Green posted a 3.33 GPA during the spring season.

Seven of the eight Ivy League teams were on the list, demonstrating the conference’s dedication to not only high-level lacrosse, but also a high level of academic achievements.

Juniors Kelly Dolan, Blake Hamblett and Kristen Hinckley were all recognized as members of the Academic Honor Roll. In order to be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
