The Big Green went 1-13 in 2016, defeating the Big10’s Michigan, 13-12. All but one of Dartmouth’s double-digit point scorers from last season will return in 2017. Wiley Osborne led the team in goals (20), assists (13) and points (33) as a junior.

BEHIND THE BENCH
Brendan Callahan returns for his third season at the helm of the Big Green team after being named the 10th head coach in the program’s 89-year history in August of 2014. Scott Hackett-Dalgliesh is back for his second year as an assistant coach, while Nate Norbo is new to Hanover. He comes to Dartmouth after serving as an assistant at Elizabethtown for two years.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN GRIFFINS
Both teams will be playing their first games of the season in their first-ever meeting with each other. Last season, Canisius went 4-8, defeating the likes of Siena, Manhattan, Vermont and Detroit.

RETURNING FIREPOWER
All but one of Dartmouth’s double-digit point scorers from last season will return in 2017. Wiley Osborne led the team in goals (20), assists (13) and points (33) as a sophomore. Jack Korzelius was second with 17 goals, seven assists and 24 points.

BETWEEN THE PIPES
Netminding responsibilities will fall on sophomore Griffin Miller and freshman George Christopher. During his first year on the team, Miller appeared between the pipes for three games, including two conference contests.

Making up the Class of 2020 are Albie Austin, Chris Bacotti, George Christopher, Kyle Clampitt, Jack Forrest, David Gallagher, Ben Martin, Liam O’Connell, Matt Parker, Jack Richardson, Harlan Smart and James Sullivan.
