The second co-ed group representing the Big Green competed in the Camel Team Race hosted by Tufts just down the road. Max Clapp, Noah Simmons, Michael Tellini, Mary Amis, Sarah Chong and Christopher Cheng sailed in the green and white and finished fifth out of six teams, a very small field of competition. Tufts came in first while Roger Williams took second and the US Coast Guard Academy finsished third.

In the largest regatta of the weekend, the all-women team that traveled to Brown to participate in the Dellenbaugh Women’s Trophy faced some fierce competition. Peninah Benjamin, Emma White, Kathryn Hall and Lisa Genthner traveled to Brown to participate in the 18-team field. Dartmouth finished 17th overall after struggling in the B division, as the host Bears took the win, while Stanford came in second and Yale finished third.

All three regattas hosted the same competition the Big Green will see next weekend at the New England Dinghy Tournament, and head into the last few weekends of spring action before the final championship events.

Dartmouth returns to the water this weekend at two regattas in Connecticut and the New England Tournament hosted by Mass Maritime.
