Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the DartmouthSports.com Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

Frank was credited with both victories the Dartmouth baseball team scored last week, first beating Amherst in a 5-2 triumph, then defeating the defending Ivy League champ, Princeton, in his first career start in league play. The win over Amherst was merely a tune-up for the weekend as he needed just 10 pitches to retire the side in order in his one inning of work. The Big Green then took the lead in the bottom half and never relinquished it to give Frank his first career victory. Three days later, the rookie left-hander held the Tiger lineup hitless for six innings before being touched for a double in the seventh. He finished the game allowing one earned run on one hit and four walks with five strikeouts in 6.1 innings. During the week, the opposition managed to hit just .043 against Frank.

Freshman Deirdre Lambert along with sophomores Carissa Crawford and Catie O'Sullivan won the B Division at the Dellenbaugh Trophy this past weekend. Their performances in the B Division helped the team finish second out of 16 schools at the regatta, only finishing behind the host, Brown. Lambert skippered and Crawford and O'Sullivan crewed in the divisional victory. The group won seven of 12 races and won their division by 39 points. Dartmouth finished 10th in the A Division.
