(Detroit, Mich.), Jr., G, Women's BasketballFaziah Steen earns Dartmouth Student-Athlete of the Week after a stellar junior season on the hardwood. The junior captain, leads the Big Green in every offensive category and leads the team in scoring with 15.6 points per game, which is fourth among her Ivy League counterparts. This past weekend, Steen tallied 34 points in games against Yale and Brown. Her talents were on display in a win against the Bears, when she nailed the go-ahead tree-pointer with 0.48 seconds remaining in the contest to snap Dartmouth's four-game losing streak. Steen is also moving up the Big Green all-time scoring list. She currently ranks No. 18 with 955 career points and is 45 points shy of her 1,000th point, which would make her Dartmouth's 16th 1,000-point scorer.
