Abbey D'Agostino continues to lead the women's cross country team, running to a first place finish in the season's first meet, followed by a third place finish in the prestigious Paul Short Invitational. Senior golfer Peter Williamson is heading up the men's golf squad in fall Tournaments, claiming the individual title at the Macdonald Cup.

Abbey D'Agostino (Topsfield, Mass.) Sophomore, Cross Country
Abbey D'Agostino (Topsfield, Mass.) of the women's cross country team has been named the DartmouthSports.com Female Athlete of the Week for her strong showing at the Paul Short Invitational on Friday, Sept. 30. The sophomore harrier paced the Big Green with a fourth-place finish in a field of nearly 400 runners in the women's Gold Race. The annual meet hosted by Lehigh featured some of the best runners from the Northeast and across the nation with D'Agostino running a 20:22 on the 6K course. Earlier this season and in the team's only other meet, D'Agostino won the Dartmouth Invitational and helped the Big Green to the team title. At the Paul Short Invitational, her fourth-place finish helped Dartmouth claim eighth in a race of 45 teams.
