HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth College department of athletics and head athletic trainer Jeff Frechette announced the addition of Bethanie Brann to the training staff.
Brann comes to the Upper Valley after spending three years working as a graduate assistant and part-time instructor in athletic training at James Madison. While in Harrisonburg, Va., Brann worked primarily with the Division I football team and cheerleading squad.
Her duties with football included providing medical coverage for the squad during preseason, regular season, spring workouts and summer sessions. Brann also taught and mentored undergraduate students enrolled in the athletic training program.
As an instructor, Brann taught infectious disease control and supervised and reviewed students clinical skills.
Most recently, during the spring season she worked at Harrisonburg High School substituting as Head Athletic Trainer to provide training services to all of the athletes.
Brann graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in 2010 with a bachelor of science in athletic training. In 2012, she earned a master of science in exercise physiology from James Madison.
