Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Northeast Credit Union Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

Dartmouth sophomore Morgan McCalmon picked up her third Ivy Player of the Week award, after hitting .400 on the week with six hits, four RBI, one double and one home run. She finished with a .667 slugging and a .471 on-base percentage. McCalmon was also instrumental inside the circle, picking up a pair of wins with 19 strikeouts. In her first start of the weekend, the Norman, Oklahoma, native struck out a career-best 13 hitters. McCalmon’s second circle appearance was one-inning of scoreless relief work in the third game of the Harvard series. The Dartmouth righty then won the decisive fourth game of the weekend to clinch the division crown.

Edward Wagner So.  New York, N.Y.,  Men's Track

Wagner ran in five events in two different meets on consecutive days last weekend. He began with a second-place finish in the 400m hurdles at Penn Relays on Friday before also helping the Dartmouth 4x400m and distance medley relay teams to seventh and 11th-place showings, respectively, later in the afternoon at Franklin Field. The following day in Durham at UNH's Wildcat Invitational II, Wagner was second in the 200m and seventh in the 100m. Normally a 400m runner, Saturday's races at UNH were a departure from his usual set of events.
