HANOVER, N.H.- Dartmouth Senior Associate Athletic Director for Peak Performance Drew Galbraith has been appointed to the NCAA Men's Soccer Committee beginning with the 2012 season for a four-year term.

Galbraith, in his ninth year at the college, is entering his second year as the Director of Dartmouth Peak Performance. In his current position, Galbraith coordinates programs designed to position student-athletes to achieve the highest levels of physical, intellectual and personal growth during their collegiate career. Galbraith also serves as a liaison to health professionals who work with Big Green student-athletes, including Dartmouth Health Services and physicians from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Additionally, Galbraith serves as a sport administrator for 13 of Dartmouth's 34 varsity teams and is a member of the department's senior leadership team.  In addition to his role with the men's soccer committee, Galbraith has served on the NCAA Skiing Committee and also serves on the NCAA Administration Cabinet.

The men's soccer committee assists with the administration of the men's soccer championship. Galbraith will be involved with the recommendations for the championship sites and dates, format as well as the selection of teams.
