This week's Woodlands Credit Union athletes of the week are tearing up the soccer pitch for the Big Green. Sophomores Alex Adelabu and Tasha Wilkins are leading their teams in a big for an Ivy title. Wilkins put the women's soccer team on her back, scoring both goals in a 2-0 win over Harvard. Adelabu scored twice and added an assist in the men's victory over the Crimson.

Each week, will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Woodlands Credit Union Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

Tasha Wilkins, (Portland, Ore.) So., F, Soccer

Tasha Wilkins earned her first career Ivy League Player of the Week honor after leading the Big Green to a 2-0 win over rival Harvard on Sunday (Oct. 28). Wilkins scored both goals for the Big Green, who extended their winning streak to six consecutive games. Wilkins has tallied points in Dartmouth's last three contests including back-to-back game-winners against Harvard (Oct. 28) and Columbia (Oct. 20). She also added an assist on the game-winner against Boston University (Oct. 17). Wilkins has nine points on four goals and one assist. 

Alex Adelabu, (Houston, Texas) So., F, Soccer

Alex Adelabu continues to be a force on the field for the Big Green. The reigning Ivy League Player of the Week picked up five points on two goals and an assist in leading Dartmouth to a 3-1 win over Harvard on Saturday (Oct. 27). Adelabu leads the Big Green in points with 21 points on a team-best nine goals and three assists and has earned points in each of Dartmouth's last three outings. He is currently on a two-game scoring streak.
