HANOVER, N.H. - Senior Kelly Hood (Berlin, N.H.) and junior Lisa Masini (Ann Arbor, Mich.) of the Dartmouth field hockey team have been named to the 2011 Longstretch /NFHCA Division I All-Northeast Region teams.

Hood earned a spot on the first team, while Masini was recognized with a spot on the second team.

Just over a week ago, Hood was honored as the Ivy league Offensive Player of the Year for 2011 after setting new program records in points (134) and goals (58) in a career. She also earned All-Ivy First-Team recognition for the third straight year, becoming just the sixth player in Dartmouth program history to do so.

In 2011, Hood scored 14 goals and posted 33 points to lead the team and rank second in the conference in scoring as she started in all 17 games for the Big Green.

Masini's second-team honors come following the same recognition from the Ivy League office. Her 18 assists this season led the league and her 1.06 assists per game were ranked in the top five among all Division I players in the nation at the end of the regular season.

The junior defender/midfielder scored four times in 2011 to give her 26 points, ranking fifth in the Ivy League. This is the first time that Masini has been recognized by the NFHCA with a regional honor.
