HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth field hockey team will be holding a FREE skills clinic at Leverone Field House on Saturday, Feb. 25. The camp is open to both boys and girls between second grade through seniors in high school.

For those students in grades 9-12, the clinic will run from approximately 4-5 p.m. The portion of the clinic designed for kids in grades 2-8 will begin at 4:30 p.m. and run for an hour as well.

Beginners and experienced players are encouraged to come out and develop and hone their skills with members of the field hockey program as both players and coaches will be on hand Saturday in Leverone to instruct those in attendance.

More than 50 kids attended the last Dartmouth field hockey youth skills clinic in October following the Big Green's game against Boston College.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own equipment, including: field hockey stick, mouth guard, shin guards and sneakers (please no cleats). Extra field hockey sticks will also be available if needed.

Anyone interested in attending this free event is asked to please contact assistant coach Kristine Stigas ahead of time at Kristine.Stigas@dartmouth.edu.

Head coach Amy Fowler and her staff encourage fans to spread the word in an effort to help get the message out about their great game.
