Q&A with Janine Jablonski

Why Dartmouth?
I chose Dartmouth because I wanted to have the best undergraduate experience. Everyone I met on campus couldn't have been happier to be there. I fell in love with the school, boathouse and town as soon as I got on campus.

How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?
I have been rowing since freshman year at the American School in London and coxing since my sophomore spring. I started rowing on the Thames because it was such a big part of British culture and really fun to be a part of.

What is something about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates?
I did Russian ballet for seven years and performed with the Joffrey Ballet in The Nutcracker.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?

I am starting to get involved in the Thetford Mentors program and the Dartmouth Outing Club.

What are your future plans, if any?
I hope to return to London to continue my studies and travel around the world.
