Nationall Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society ... given the team’s Alan Hewitt ’34 and Robert Hewitt ’40 Award for best epitomizing athletic performance with academic achievement ... led the team with 85 tackles, which ranked third in the Ancient Eight ... four times recorded double-digit tackles in a game ... made 13 stops in four-overtime loss at Penn, plus recorded his first career interception ... brought down 14 Crimson ball carriers at Harvard ... named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week each of the final two weeks of the season, first for his 14 tackles in a big road win at Brown, then for his season-high 15 stops against Princeton in the finale to help hand the Tigers their only Ivy loss all season.

Young Award given to the the junior or sophomore defensive player that contributed the most to the success of the team ... led the Ivy League with 98 tackles, the first Big Green player to do so in five years ... even better in league play, averaging 10.1 tackles per game ... posted at least 10 tackles in six of the 10 contests and led the team seven times ... started the season with seven stops in a 35-7 win over Butler, but biggest play came inside the Dartmouth 20 when he recovered a fumble to thwart a Bulldog scoring threat in the first quarter ... chosen as Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week following the 13-10 win at Holy Cross as he registered a whopping 15 tackles ... led the squad with 11 more stops versus Penn ... batted away a fourth-down pass in the fourth quarter at Yale with the Green clinging to a six-point lead before going on to break a nine-game losing streak against the Bulldogs in a 34-14 win ... brought down a Sacred Heart runner for an eight-yard loss and broke up another pass against the Pioneers ... joined two teammates with 10 tackles in five-point win at Columbia ... racked up 13 tackles against Harvard, plus forced a fumble that a teammate recovered early in the third quarter ... 10 more stops in 44-28 triumph at Cornell ... saved his best for last, piling up 17 tackles (the most by any Ivy player all year) with two coming on consecutive goal-to-go plays that helped keep Princeton from extending a seven-point lead at the time as Dartmouth went on to a 35-21 victory ... once again named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week for his work against the Tigers.

SOPHOMORE (2011)
Broke into the starting lineup in the third game at middle linebacker and stayed there for the remainder of the season ... contributed at least one tackle in eight of the 10 contests ... first stop of the year dropped a Sacred Heart runner back two yards ... finished that game with three tackles ... brought down five Quakers, one on special teams, in the night game against Penn ... posted another tackle for a loss (among his thre stops) in the victory over Cornell ... saved his best for last with a season-high nine tackles to help the Big Green defeat Princeton, 24-17.

FRESHMAN (2010)
Spent most of the season on the junior varsity, though did see brief action in the varsity win over Sacred Heart ... led the jayvees with 10 tackles against Middlebury, plus broke up a pass inside the 10 to help preserve the shutout ... came up with 11 stops versus the Harvard JV ... recorded six tackles, 1.5 for a loss, against Bridgton Academy.

HIGH SCHOOL
Chosen to the East Suburban Catholic Conference all-star team ... member of the Sun Times all-area team after playing linebacker and tight end for the Redwings ... led the squad with 95 tackles, including 46 solos as a senior ... had nine stops behind the line ... member of the DuPage County all-area first team ... Illinois academic all-state for Class 7A ... as a senior captained football team with fellow Dartmouth recruit Phil Schmidt ... also captained basketball team in his final season.
