Why Dartmouth?
-There was just something that I felt when I visited the campus that made me know Dartmouth was the school for me.  It was the last school I visited and something just clicked.  I love the rural location and the Connecticut river is gorgeous and the most amazing water to row on.  Dartmouth also has an unbelievable reputation of professors and I have had only positive experiences in all of my classes.  The D-Plan was also intriguing and something unique to Dartmouth.  Hanover is also only a short distance from my home in MA, so that was also an added benefit.  But I couldn't have made a better decision and have never been so happy at school!

How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?
-I have been rowing since my sophomore year in high school (2006).  My brother got me into rowing after encouraging me for years to try it.  He rowed himself in high school, college, and then at the national and international level so his support has really helped me along the way.

What extra curricular activities are you involved with on campus?
-I am a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and a MAV (Mentor Against Violence).

What are your future plans, if any?
-I plan on attending nursing school and become a nurse.

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
-I hate spiders.
