LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 10 Dartmouth men’s squash team fell in non-conference action to No. 6 Franklin & Marshall, 7-2, on Thursday night at the Mayser Center.

The Big Green move to 0-2 on the young season while the Diplomats notched their second straight win over an Ancient Eight foe to improve to 3-0.

Chris Jung earned a point for the Green and White, topping Jack Cutler at No. 3. Jung won a tightly contested match, 12-10, 12-10, 11-9. The individual win was the first of the season for Jung.

Mark Funk also picked up his first individual win of 2013-14 for Dartmouth. The Short Hills, N.J., native scored a come-from-behind five-set victory at No. 9 versus Aadit Zaveri. After dropping the first two games, the junior played with grit and won the next three. Dating back to last year, Funk has won five of his last six matches.

The Big Green men return to action tomorrow, Dec. 6, traveling to Annapolis to square off with No. 15 Navy. The match gets underway at 12 p.m.
