HARTFORD, CONN. - The Dartmouth men's squash team had four athletes still competing at the CSA Individual Championships at Trinity on Saturday.
The Big Green had one player in the Pool Division and three players in the Molloy Division.
In the Pool Division, Chris Hanson defeated Harvard's Brandon McLaughlin, 3-1 (11-6, 3-11, 11-9, 11-8) in a second round consolation match. In the semifinals, Hanson lost to Sammy Kang of Princeton 3-2 (11-4, 4-11, 11-2, 7-11, 1-8 - withdrew due to cramp). Hanson took the first and third games, but withdrew from the match in the fifth game when he was trailing 8-1.
In the Molloy Division, Robbie Maycock topped Bowdoin's Andrew Hilboldt, 3-0 (12-10, 11-6, 11-4) in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals, Maycock beat Noah Browne of Amherst, 3-1 (11-3, 11-9, 5-11, 13-11). He advances to the semifinals where he will take on Vivek Dinodia.
Alexander Greer lost to Franklin & Marshall's Alexander Arjoon, 3-0 (11-9, 11-8, 11-5) in a second round consolation quarterfinal match.
Chris Jung cruised to a victory against NYU's James Hill, 3-0 (11-4, 11-6, 11-3) in his second round consolation quarterfinal match. In the semifinal match, Jung lost to Trinity's Matthew Mackin 3-2 (11-4, 11-4, 7-11, 8-11, 2-11).
