PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Fletcher Pease represented the Dartmouth men’s squash team on Saturday at the CSA Individual Championship.
Pease was the lone member of the Big Green still competing on day two, taking part in the Molloy Division. The Molloy Division features the No. 33-80 ranked players in the country.
The Cincinnati, Ohio, native opened the day with a win over Franklin &Marshall’s Dylan Cunningham. Pease scored a come-from-behind, four-set win to advance to the quarterfinals. After falling 11-4 in the opening game, he won the next three.
Later in the day, Pease was eliminated from the tournament after losing his match the quarterfinals to Drexel’s Justin Singh. After dropping the first game, Pease tied it one with an 11-9 win in the second game. Down the stretch, Singh was too strong as he won the final two games to advance to the semifinals.
Fletcher Pease beat Dylan Cunningham (F & M number 7) 3-1, 4-11, 11-4,11-3, 11-9 (38 minutes).
Fletcher Pease lost to Justin Singh (Drexel number 1) 1-3, 9-11, 11-9, 5-11, 2-11 (45 minutes).
