PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Dartmouth men’s squash team picked up its first Ivy League win of the season on Friday night, topping Brown, 8-1, at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

The Big Green (3-8, 1-5) avenged a 6-3 loss to the Bears (4-13, 0-6) a year ago in the Upper Valley.

Dartmouth was dominant against Brown, capturing matches at the No. 2-No. 9 spots.

Kyle Martino, Michael Mistras, James Fisch and Bayard Kuensell each blanked their opponents to earn 3-0 triumphs.

Nicholas Harrington and Mark Funk were victorious at No. 2 and No. 6, respectively.

Fletcher Pease rallied to win his match after dropping the first game at the No. 5 spot. Chris Jung also scored a come-from-behind win for Dartmouth.

The Big Green men return to action on Sunday, Feb. 9, hosting Ancient Eight rival Yale in their final home match of the season.
