NEW YORK – The No. 11 Dartmouth men’s squash team fell on the road to No. 12 Columbia, 8-1, on Saturday afternoon at the SL Green StreetSquash.

The Big Green (2-7, 0-4 Ivy) dropped their second straight match away from Hanover, while the Lions (6-3, 2-2 Ivy) won their third in a row in front of their home crowd.

Michael Mistras was the lone member of Dartmouth to earn a point, topping Alec Goldberg, 3-1, at the No. 7 spot.  Mistras controlled the tempo of his match, never allowing more than six points in the games he won.

George Henderson dropped a five-game heartbreaker for the Big Green. Henderson held a 2-1 advantage, but Alex Nalle rallied to win the last two games of their match at No. 9.

Dartmouth returns to action tomorrow, Feb. 2, traveling to Ithaca to square off with Cornell in Ancient Eight action.
