ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Junior Michael Mistras scored a come-from-behind five-set win at the No. 5 spot to help the No. 10 Dartmouth men’s squash team defeat No. 15 Navy, 5-4, on Friday afternoon at the Halsey Field House International Squash Courts.

Mistras’ victory came with the Big Green (1-2) holding a slim a 4-3 edge and secured the team’s first victory of the young season. The Midshipmen fall to 9-2 as Dartmouth handed them their second straight loss to an Ancient Eight foe.

Chris Jung picked up his second win in as many days at the No. 3 spot topping Colin Barry in four games. After dropping the first game, Jung rallied for the triumph. Joining Mistras and Jung with come-from-behind wins were James Fisch and Mark Funk at No. 6 and No. 9, respectively. Funk’s win was his second of the season.

The other Dartmouth point came from Fletcher Pease at No. 7. The Cincinnati, Ohio native was dominant, winning in three games.

The Big Green men return to action in 2014, hosting Penn and Princeton in Ivy League play Jan. 11-12 at the Berry Squash Courts. The match with the Quakers is set for the 11th at 1 p.m. and the Tigers come to Hanover the 12th at noon.
