HANOVER, N.H. - The NBC Sports Network has announced that the Dartmouth men's hockey home game against Vermont on Wednesday, December 5 has been added to its slate of nationally-broadcast matchups.

The Big Green and Catamounts' non-conference meeting at Thompson Arena will be broadcast live as part of the network's schedule that continues its growing coverage of college hockey.

Former ECAC Hockey foes and travel partners, Dartmouth and Vermont have a storied tradition and rivalry against one another that will now been seen by a national audience.

Providing play-by-play and color analysis during the broadcast from Thompson that night will be Mike "Doc" Emrick and Pierre McGuire, two of the most recognized names in hockey.

Game time will remain unchanged with the addition of NBC's coverage with puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

This will be the first of two Dartmouth games on the NBC Sports Network in 2012-13. The Big Green's Feb. 1 contest at Union was announced as part of the original broadcast schedule during the preseason.

Currently, the Big Green are No. 11 in both national polls for the second week in a row as they are 5-2-2 overall and lead the ECAC Hockey standings with nine points with a 4-1-1 league mark.

Sophomore Tyler Sikura's 10 points (4g/6a) in six league games lead all players, while close behind is junior Eric Robinson with nine points (6g/3a). Robinson's six goals in conference games are two more than any other player in ECAC Hockey so far this season.
