HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's hockey team held its 21st annual Eddie Jeremiah Golf Classic Friday afternoon at the Hanover Country Club.

The event featured current players as well as coaches, alumni, fans and athletic department staff members taking part in 18 holes at the local links.

Following the round, players returned to the clubhouse for a dinner that also included raffles, silent auctions and giveaways for those in attendance.

Like he has so often in the past, head coach Bob Gaudet spoke to the day's players, telling stories, introducing support staff and handing out awards to the event's top teams and individual award winners.

Gaudet thanked those who have and continue to support the Big Green men and attributed the success of the program to their ongoing backing.

Dartmouth Athletics Director Harry Sheehy was also on hand and, like Gaudet, spoke about the importance of the hockey program and all sports to the department's successes.

The Eddie Jeremiah Golf Classic is an annual event hosted by the men's hockey program and would not be possible without the work of the coaching staff and the tireless efforts of administrative assistant Sheila Fifield.
