HANOVER, N.H. - Head Coach Bob Gaudet has announced the Dartmouth men's hockey schedule for the upcoming 2012-13 season.

The Big Green will take to the ice 29 times during the regular season with 15 of those contests coming on the familiar home ice of Thompson Arena.

Like the last two seasons, Dartmouth will open with the Ivy Shootout, being held this year at Brown's Meehan Auditorium in Providence, R.I. The Green and White will take on Yale (Oct. 26) in the first meeting of the weekend before playing either Brown or Princeton on Saturday (Oct. 27).

The Bulldogs (Nov. 2) and Bears (Nov. 3) will come to Hanover the following weekend as part of a four-game homestand that will also feature Rensselaer (Nov. 9) and the defending league champions and 2012 Frozen Four National Semifinalists from Union (Nov. 10)

Road games in November will send the Big Green to take on Colgate (Nov. 16), Cornell (Nov. 17) and the reigning national champion Boston College Eagles (Nov. 24).

Dartmouth will spend the entire month of December at home as Bentley (Dec. 1) and former ECAC Hockey rival Vermont (Dec. 5) make the trips to Thompson early on. The final two days of 2012 will feature New Hampshire (Dec. 30) along with UMass and Bemidji State (Dec. 31) as the three visiting programs to compete for the annual Ledyard Classic title.

Fans will have a chance to see three home games in January as ECAC Hockey foes Harvard (Jan. 12), St. Lawrence (Jan. 25) and Clarkson (Jan. 26) travel to the Upper Valley, while the Big Green will take to the road for games at Quinnipiac (Jan. 4), Princeton (Jan. 5), Brown (Jan. 18) and Yale (Jan. 19).

February marks the final month of the season and sees Dartmouth travel to the New York Capital District for league games at Union (Feb. 1) and RPI (Feb. 2) prior to breaking up Harvard's Bean Pot games with a matchup in Cambridge (Feb. 9).

Weekends with Cornell (Feb. 15) and Colgate (Feb. 16) as well as Princeton (March 1) and Quinnipiac (March 2) mark the final home games of the year with one last road trip to the North Country to play Clarkson (Feb. 22) and St. Lawrence (Feb. 23) sandwiched in between.

The 2013 ECAC Hockey postseason begins the second weekend of March and will conclude in Atlantic City, N.J., at Boardwalk Hall before moving back to Lake Placid in 2014.
