Before Dartmouth: The first player ever to come to Dartmouth from Big Sky Country, Cam calls Billings, Montana, home. Prior to juniors, he played for the Colorado Rampage Hockey Association for two years. In 76 games for the T1EHL U18 team, he tallied 41 points. Strong then went on to wear the jersey of the Topeka RoadRunners of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He played in over 100 games in his two years in Topeka and had a scoring line of 28-47-75. This past season, he captained the RoadRunners and led his team with plus-19 rating, and for his efforts was named team MVP. He also received the Heart Award, which recognizes a RoadRunner player who best exemplifies commitment, sacrifice and work ethic. Topeka had a .640 winning percentage in Strong’s two seasons with the team.
