2016-17 (Freshman):
Appeared in 28 games in his first season for the Big Green, recording 10 goals and 3 assists...Added his fifth goal of the season in a shootout victory vs. Army on Dec. 30...Scored the first of 5 for the Big Green in a shutout victory on home ice vs. Princeton on Jan. 6...Lit the lamp in 2 out of his last 3 games to complete the first-year campaign. 

Before Dartmouth:
The first player ever to come to Dartmouth from Big Sky Country, Cam calls Billings, Montana, home. Prior to juniors, he played for the Colorado Rampage Hockey Association for two years. In 76 games for the T1EHL U18 team, he tallied 41 points. Strong then went on to wear the jersey of the Topeka RoadRunners of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He played in over 100 games in his two years in Topeka and had a scoring line of 28-47-75. This past season, he captained the RoadRunners and led his team with plus-19 rating, and for his efforts was named team MVP. He also received the Heart Award, which recognizes a RoadRunner player who best exemplifies commitment, sacrifice and work ethic. Topeka had a .640 winning percentage in Strong's two seasons with the team.

Personal: Cam is the son of Doug Strong and Tenley Slayton and has two sisters. He enjoys golf, hiking and cooking. At Dartmouth, he plans to study anticipating a career in engineering.
