2016-17 (Senior): Appeared in all but one game of the 31 for the Big Green...Picked up his first points of the season with an assist to Carl Hesler's goal in a 2-0 win vs. Colgate on Nov. 5...Added two more points to his season total with the game-winning goal and an assist in a home victory vs. Harvard on Jan. 17...After going down 2-0 away at Brown on Feb. 17, Opperman scored a hat-trick in 25 mins from the 1st period into the 2nd, and fellow forward Corey Kalk added another to lead the Big Green to a 5-4 comeback victory.
2015-16 (Junior): Against Brown at home on Nov. 6, picked up his first two points on the season with a pair of assists...Assisted on Jack Barre's goal just 55 seconds into the game agianst Yale on Nov. 7...Scored at UNH (Dec. 11)...Netted the game winner against No. 20 Merrimack on Jan. 3 to help Dartmouth win the Ledyard Classic for the first time since 2008...Had a pair of assists against both Clarkson (Jan. 15) and at Corenll (Jan. 22)...Scored the game winner in a 6-3 victory at Brown on Feb. 6...Scored in his second straight game in a home loss to Union on Feb. 12...Had a four-game point streak from Feb. 6-19 (3-1-4)...Had assists in the final two games of the first-round series with Colgate.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Appeared in 30 games…Finished with a scoring line of 5-14-19 to finish fifth on the team…Tied for second on the team in assists (14)…Scored his first goal of the season on Nov. 15 at home against Brown, posting a career-high four points in the game (2-2-4)…Had two assists in 8-3 win against Sacred Heart at home on Dec. 14…Had a 1-2-3 contest in Dartmouth's 6-4 upset win over No. 15 Yale in New Haven on Feb. 7…Posted a 1-1-2 game against Princeton on Feb. 27 inside Thompson Arena…Finished the season with a +4 rating…Whistled for five minor penalties for 10 PIM…Dartmouth was 4-0-0 when Opperman scored a goal and 9-3-0 when he had a point.
2013-14 (Freshman): Played in 31 games during the season, including the final 30…Named the recipient of the Booma Award presented to the player who through determination, desire, dedication, and ability earns the ‘Rookie of The Year' award…Third on the team in scoring with 19 points, the 26th-best output by a first-year player in program history…He was second on the team with eight goals and third in assists with 11…Scored his first career goal at home against Clarkson on Nov. 8…His first career multi-point effort came at Brown on Dec. 7 as he notched assists on both Dartmouth goals…Had a four-game point streak from Feb. 14 at St. Lawrence through Feb. 22 against Yale (3-2-5)…Scored the game-winning goal on a breakaway at St. Lawrence on Feb. 14 in a 3-1 Big Green victory…Had a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win at Clarkson on Feb. 15…Had two assists in Dartmouth's 3-2 win in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series with RPI on Mar. 8… The Big Green was 4-2-2 when he scored a goal and 7-7-2 when picking up a point.
Played three seasons of high school hockey in Minnesota before making the jump to the USHL and the Tri-City Storm for parts of two years… During his high school career at the Breck School, he registered 85 goals and 109 assists for 194 points in just 113 games... Helped Breck win the Minnesota High School State Championship in 2009-10 with a record of 28-1-0…In 58 games for Tri-City, accumulated 30 points on 13 goals and 17 assists, including a line of 12-15—27 in 48 games during the 2012-13 campaign…Won Peewee ‘A' Minnesota State Championship in 2006-07 (38-15-0) and a Bantam ‘A' title in 2008-09 (48-5-4)…Was named all-state, all-conference, all-metro and all-state tournament team as a senior in addition to being named Breck MVP and a finalist for Mr. Hockey.
