DEMPSEY'S CAREER STATS
2015-16 (Senior): Played in one game...Suited up for the final home game of the regular season against Cornell on Feb. 20...Had one shot on goal.
2014-15 (Junior): Did not make an appearance.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Dressed for 26 games…After playing in just two of the team’s first 10 games, he played in the final 24 contests of the season…Posted one goal and three assists for four points during the season…Scored his first career goal — a game-tying goal — at home against Cornell on Jan. 18, tying the game midway through the second period…Had an assist the following game at RPI on Jan. 24, a game in which he was whistled for his only penalty of the season.
2012-13 (Freshman): Appeared in 18 games for the Big Green, including 11 against ECAC Hockey competition…Picked up his first collegiate point, an assist, at St. Lawrence on Tim O’Brien’s second goal of the middle period on Feb. 23…Set up Nick Bligh just 3:37 into the third period of Game 3 against Harvard in the opening round of the conference tournament. The goal would prove to be the game winner…Was called for just three penalties all season.
Before Dartmouth: Spent 2011-12 with the Westside Warriors of the BCHL...Played in 56 games with the Warriors, scoring 24 goals and assisting on 34 others for 58 points...That production gave him a 1.04 points-per game mark in just one season in the league...Finished as the team's top scorer and was named the Rookie of the Year as well as the Top Forward...In 2010-11, he played 25 games for The Rivers School, scoring 15 goals and adding 22 assists...His 1.48 points per game his senior year were a career best...Earned the Paul Licht Hockey Award as The Rivers MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior...Was a co-captain his senior season...Named to the Independent School League Council Hockey All-League Team his last three seasons... Also suited up for the Boston Advantage U18 team in 26 games over the course of two seasons.
Personal: Son of Jack and Susan Dempsey...Is one of four kids with one brother, Hunter, and two sisters, Meaghan and Jillian...His sister Jillian is a member of the Harvard women's hockey team as well as a member of the US National Team...Both sisters are also Ivy League products as both Meaghan '10 and Jillian '13 enrolled at Harvard.
