2013-14 (Senior): Played in 30 games…Missed four games in the middle of the season due to illness…Named the recipient of the McInnis Award as the Sportsman of the Year. The award is chosen by the players to honor the individual who has best reflected spirit, camaraderie, loyalty and dedication to Dartmouth men’s hockey and to Dartmouth College. Those same characteristics were demonstrated throughout his lifetime by Philip McInnis ’36, president of the Friends of Men’s Hockey from 1979 through 1984 and in whose honor this award is given each year…Finishes his career seventh at Dartmouth in games played all-time (129)…Scored lone goal of the season at Princeton on Nov. 15…Third on the team with 56 blocked shots.

2012-13 (Junior):
One of the most durable players in recent history, he suited up in 32 games this season, missing the first two contests of his career…Finished the season with five assists and no goals…Picked up his first point of the season as his point-shot on the power play was redirected in by Tyler Sikura as part of the Big Green’s 4-0 win at Brown to capture the Ivy Shootout title…Had a helper on the final goal of the game to seal the 4-1 win over then-No. 2 New Hampshire at a sold out Thompson Arena on Dec. 30 in the first game of the 2012 Ledyard Classic…Picked up assists in each of Dartmouth’s two victories against Harvard in the first-round postseason meeting between the two Ivy League foes…Was second on the team in blocked shots with 55…Played a crucial role on the team’s penalty killing unit that ranked second in ECAC Hockey and fifth in the nation with a 88.6% success rate (109-123)…After the season was voted by his peers as one of the team’s alternate captains for the 2013-14 campaign.

2011-12 (Sophomore): Played in all 33 games for the Big Green, paired with defensive partner Jim Gaudet for each...Known as a defensive defenseman, he finished the season with four assists and just five minor penalties...In all 22 ECAC Hockey games, he recorded two assists and had just four penalties...One of the team's top penalty killers.

2010-11 (Freshman): Played in all of Dartmouth's 34 overall games, 22 in ECAC Hockey...Notched his first career goal in a win over Clarkson and had his first career assist at home against Harvard.

Before Dartmouth: Helped lead the Indiana Ice to its first-ever USHL Championship in 2009...He registered two assists and a plus-10 rating in 33 games for the Ice in 2008-09...In his final season with the Ice, he played in 39 games, scoring one goal and 11 assists with 29 penalty minutes...Graduated from Niwot High School in 2010...Played hockey and lacrosse all four years.

Personal: Born in Boulder, Colo. ...Parents are Thomas Boldt and Elizabeth Specht...Has one brother and one sister...Sister, Emily, ran track at Vanderbilt... Would like to pursue medicine while at Dartmouth...Enjoys hiking, golf and yoga.
