Koren Schram Player Bio

Three-time Ivy League Champion Koren Schram '09 returned to the Dartmouth women's basketball program as the director of basketball operations in June 2010 and completed her third season on the women's basketball staff in 2012-13.

As director of basketball operations, Schram will oversee all administrative functions of the women's basketball office.

Schram joins Wielgus' staff after spending a year in Hveragerdi, Iceland, playing professional basketball for Hamar in Iceland's premier league. A conference all-star, Schram led Hamar to the league championship series.

One of the most decorated players in the history of Dartmouth women's basketball, Schram brings a great deal of experience and unique alumni experience to the program. During her time at Dartmouth, Schram won three Ivy League Championships (2006, 2008, 2009) and made four postseason appearances, including the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and 2009 and the Women's NIT in 2007 and 2008.

Individually, Schram was named All-Ivy three times, including first team honors as both a junior in 2008 and senior in 2009. A 1,000-point scorer, Schram also ranks third all-time in Dartmouth history in career three-point field goals with 198.  As a senior co-captain, Schram was a finalist for the Lowe's Senior Class Award, earning All-Senior All-America honors. She is a past recipient of the Dartmouth Class of 1976 Award for the top female athlete and was inducted into the Wearers of the Green in 2009.

A psychology/neuroscience major at Dartmouth, Schram has experience in the medical field having served as a research coordinator at New York Presbyterian Hospital and a research assistant at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

A native of Batesville, Ark., Schram played her high school basketball at Southside High where she was class valedictorian and an all-state selection in both basketball and softball.
