DURHAM, N.H. - The Dartmouth equestrian team placed third in a field of 12 teams Saturday afternoon in a show at the University of New Hampshire. The Big Green claimed 32 points in the standings and had six individuals record top-three finishes.

Senior Amanda Duchesne took home first in the Walk Trot, while freshman Felicia Jia was the top rider in the Walk Trot Canter.

Second-place showings for freshmen Jesse Menville (Novice Fences) and Emma Waugh (Novice Flat) also helped the Green in the team portion.

Senior Helena White was third in Novice Fences and earned enough points to qualify for Regionals, an event that will be hosted by Dartmouth on March 30.

The hosts from New Hampshire took the top spot with 41 points, while Vermont was second with 36 on Saturday in Durham.

The team will wrap-up the 2012-13 regular season next weekend with shows at University of Vermont and Middlebury.
