Four regional-winning teams competed for a spot at the 2014 IHSA National Championship to be held May 1-4 in Harrisburg, Pa.
The Big Green won the Zone I Championship, beating out second-place Mount Holyoke, third-place Tufts and Rhode Island in fourth. Both Dartmouth and Mount Holyoke will compete in the team competition at Nationals thanks to their placements.
Also qualifying for Nationals on an individual level was Anna Knowles, ’16, who competed in the IHSA Scholarship Challenge. Knowles placed in the top-two in Zone I, which earned her a spot to compete at Nationals against the top-16 challenge winners in the country.
Also competing for individual spots at Nationals were four Dartmouth Equestrian athletes competing in five classes.
