HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth equestrian team posted two first-place finishes in shows at Middlebury and Vermont this past weekend.

In both shows, the Big Green placed first in fields of 10 teams.

The top finishers at Saturday’s show at Middlebury were:
Janna Wandzilak ’14 – 1st in open fences, 2nd in open flat
Alexa Dixon ’15 – 1st in open flat
Lindsay Seewald ’16 – 1st in novice fences
Emily Tregidgo ’16 – 1st in open flat
Meg Rauner ’17 – 1st in walk trot canter
Lauren Kwan ’14 – 1st in walk trot

Sunday saw Dartmouth edge out in-state rival UNH for the top spot in the team standings, 46-41, in UVM’s show. Sophomore Lindsay Seewald was the reserve high point rider, placing second in a field of 175 entrants.

Top performances at Vermont included:
Lindsay Seewald ’16 – 1st in intermediate fences, 1st in intermediate flat
Catherine Conway ’17 – 1st in novice fences
Janna Wandzilak ’14 – 2nd in open flat
Meaghan Haugh ’17 – 1st in novice flat
Emma Waugh ’16 – 1st in novice flat
Felicia Jia ’16 – 2nd in walk trot canter
Meg Rauner ’17 – 2nd in walk trot canter
Justin Maffert ’16 – 1st in walk trot
Lauren Kwan ’14 – 1st in walk trot

The team returns to action on Saturday in New London at the annual Colby-Sawyer show.
