I was split between Dartmouth and a couple other places until I attended
Dartmouth's admitted student weekend, Dimensions. All the people I
met--professors, current students, and prospective students--were
incredibly friendly, and that essentially made my decision for me.
How long have you been riding and what got you interested in riding?
I rode off and on for five years during elementary and middle school, but
stopped during high school. I was obsessed with horses and ponies as a
kid, and before I started riding, would ride my bike around my backyard
pretending I was horseback riding!
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to
I'm a total running, cross-country, and track and field (high school,
college, and professional) nerd.
What other activities are you involved in on campus?
I am co-president of the Dartmouth Rotaract Club, intern at
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and research at the Geisel School of
Medicine. I also am a Sexpert and a member of Medical Students for Choice.
What are your future plans?
If all goes well, medical school and becoming a women's health care
